“I am a Dutch artist inspired by nature, wonder, and the beauty of stillness. For over 25 years, I worked as a physician in molecular imaging at the Medical Centre in Amersfoort. Nowadays I’m a full-time painter from my studio in Den Treek, a forest between Amersfoort and Leusden — a place where silence, memory, and nature come together. From Head to Heart.

My work is rooted in layered textures, soft tones, and natural forms — shaped by years of seeing deeply, both through the lens of human science and through the forest around me. These paintings invite wonder, reflection and connection beyond words.

My art has been exhibited in respected international art galleries, they have supported my journey.

In recent years, collectors and interior designers have chosen my canvases as artwork for their homes — from countryside homes to serene wellness spaces and modern open-plan living rooms. These works thrive in environments with room to breathe, where they become part of the rhythm and mood of the home. The artwork invites you to slow down, feel something, and connect — to nature, to stillness, and to yourself.
